Entercept Strategy Development
We develop a strategy with your team to configure and use Entercept in both warning and prevention modes, focused on assuring high availability:
- Set strategy for prevention mode readiness
- Develop policies to operate in warning mode and protection mode
- Establish protection mode change control procedures
Setup and Configuration
- Monitor incoming agent security event data to define user and event-based exceptions
- Define and configure custom security policies to implement protection mode reactions
- Adjust agent signature list to align with your specific environmental security needs
- Define user accounts and privilege access levels for all appropriate Entercept system administrators
- Configure management server for appropriate user notifications: e-mail, pager, SNMP traps and spawn process
- Configure management server to acquire signature and agent version updates
