  1. Go to the McAfee application on your device.
  2. Click the Home tab.
  3. Select the type of device you would like to add and follow the directions.

Pick the security settings and schedules that best fit your lifestyle.

  2. Click on the security tab. Mac users click on the Mac Security tab.
  3. Toggle Real-time scanning, Firewall, Automatic updates and Schedule scan on or off as well as run a custom or full scan all from this one tab. Mac users must click on each option, e.g. Real-time scanning, to access the toggle.

Here is how to turn on auto-renewal to ensure your digital protection.

  1. Go to the McAfee application on your device.
  2. Click on the Account tab.
  3. Click on the renew button and follow the instructions on how to keep yourself protected.

To turn off auto-renewal, follow same steps as outlined and click "Off".

Here is how to protect your privacy online.

  1. Go to the McAfee application on your device.
  2. Click on the Security tab. Mac users click on the Mac Security tab.
  3. Toggle Firewall on to ensure you are receiving protection. Mac users must select Firewall to access the toggle.
  4. Click on the Identity tab.
  5. Toggle the McAfee SiteAdvisor on or off. Mac users must select McAfee SiteAdvisor to access the toggle. This tool empowers you to make good decisions while browsing online or engaging with social channels in order to keep your digital life safe.
